Initial Consultation
During this meeting, we will take the time to understand your goals, design preferences, and functional needs for your home. We will also review your budget and discuss financing options to ensure your vision aligns with your financial plan. We will discuss our building process, explaining each phase from design and permits to construction and final completion. You can ask questions, share ideas, and ensure you feel confident in our approach. This Consultation is designed to clarify expectations, build trust, and lay the foundation for a successful project
Design
We recommend using our preferred design partners, however this is not required. Whether you utilize our design partners or your own, we then begin detailing the direction of your project. We walk you through the design process; pre-construction to execution.
Pre-Construction
The pre-construction phase is a critical step in the home-building process, where planning and preparation come together. ensuring a smooth build. During this phase, architectural plans are finalized to reflect your vision, and necessary permits are acquired to meet local building codes and regulations. At the same time, materials are sourced, and key product selections—such as finishes, fixtures, and appliances—are made to align with your design and budget. This stage sets the foundation for a well-organized construction process, ensuring every detail is accounted for before work begins on-site.
Execution
The execution phase of a home build is a meticulously planned and managed process. It begins with demolition and securing the foundation, followed by constructing the home to a weather-tight stage. Throughout this phase, there are regular quality inspections and municipal inspections to ensure everything meets the highest standards and complies with local regulations. Once the structure is weather-tight, the focus shifts to finishing the interior, transforming the shell into a beautiful, functional living space. This phase is marked by attention to detail and craftsmanship, ensuring that every aspect of the home reflects the client’s vision and meets Cedar Row standards.
Completion
The completion of a home build is where everything comes together to ensure the final product meets the highest standards and exceeds client expectations. This stage includes detailed walkthroughs with the client to review every aspect of the home, ensuring all finishes and features align with the agreed-upon plans. A thorough quality assurance inspection is conducted to confirm the home is built to the highest standards of craftsmanship and functionality. Any final adjustments are addressed promptly, and the builder ensures the client is fully satisfied before handing over the keys to their new home.
